I called late on a Saturday and Dave said to just head on over. My machine was repaired while I waited and I learned a lot about my machine while it was being worked on. Dave is quite knowledgeable. I almost never write reviews but this business is a gem! So glad that I stumbled upon it.

I met David & Marian Trebotich of Twice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations today. They are the nicest, helpful, and most knowledgeable people you will meet in the featherweight business. My experience included competitive pricing on new and vintage parts, fast shipping, quick machine repairs, and the ability to attend their class on featherweight maintenance and history. A++ people to work with!!!

David atTwice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations is one of those business that will soon be gone if we don't support through patronage. The axion "they don't make them like they used to" applies to these shops and the products they service and support. Sewing machines are increasingly becoming a disposable item. Packed with computer driven features that make so many options easier to access. Built with light weight plastics and metals the new models will not last the test of time and use. Thankfully there are still some shops like TwiceNice Sewing Machine Restoration and skilled servicemen like David, these shops keep the well built and dependable Sewing Machines, like my 50 year old Kenmore Model 2142 ( a wedding gift from Nana Jo ) in good working order. This machine, with the help of this shop will continue to provide service for another 50 years. In all honesty I did not have any interaction with the business other than a delightful and very informative conversation about my 50 year old sewing machine. David talked me through the possible issues with my machine and guided me to resolving them. I was considering buying a new machine, but after our conversation I decide to repair this older work horse and keep it and pass it on the the next generation. Its a fine example of American craftsmanship and Like David it will continue to serve as long s I continue to use its service. You know what? I will take my sewing machine to the shop for service.

My 65+ year old Singer sewing machine (which I’ve had since high school) was not working for some reason. Usually I can trouble shoot and determine what’s wrong…not this time. I looked up sewing repair servicing and the only one that mentioned Singer was Twice as Nice. Called and David said to bring it up that very day, which I did with no expectations. He took one look and knew immediately what the problem was…fixed it right there on the spot with no charge. He even gave me lubricating oil and some other small parts. What a find!!!
