Great place. I had a minor issue with my sewing machine TWICE. Dave was nice enough to work with me and fix my machine in a short amount of time.

Dave serviced my Janome in less than one week. Excellent service and very responsive to my request for a larger thumb screw for my Babylock. He is also an excellent teacher - he was very thorough in teaching a class (pre-COVID) on how to clean and oil a Featherweight machine. Prices are very reasobable.

David just finished the repair on my grandmother's Singer 99 sewing machine (1927 model). While the machine itself wasn't in a too bad condition, the case was a mess and half of it was missing. David searched and searched for a new case for me and found one! He also restored the machine so it runs perfectly. The machine originally had a knee control to make the machine operate. He got that functional but he also added a foot control so I have the option of how to operate it. He also took the time to show me how it works. This service was all at a very reasonable cost. Took a Featherweight maintenance class from Dave at Wooden Gates Quilt shop today! What a great class! We learned so much from Dave! My machine is clean, oiled and greased and is happily humming now! He provided photos of where to oil and grease our machines! I highly recommend Dave's class and also for your sewing machine servicing!

Dave rocks! He not only helped me fix my issue — but learn more about what I should be doing (if I had read and retained the user manual's recommended practices). I went from utter confusion (pre-visit) to feeling empowered and ready for a whole slew of new projects (post-visit). It's great to know we have a talent and resource like this in Antioch!
