David was awesome!! Very professional and efficient. He was able to quickly fix my serger on the spot as it was just a minor issue with the knife. Highly recommend! Will definitely be going back for any future sewing/serger machine repair/maintenance! Thanks, David!

David atTwice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations is one of those business that will soon be gone if we don't support through patronage. The axion "they don't make them like they used to" applies to these shops and the products they service and support. Sewing machines are increasingly becoming a disposable item. Packed with computer driven features that make so many options easier to access. Built with light weight plastics and metals the new models will not last the test of time and use. Thankfully there are still some shops like TwiceNice Sewing Machine Restoration and skilled servicemen like David, these shops keep the well built and dependable Sewing Machines, like my 50 year old Kenmore Model 2142 ( a wedding gift from Nana Jo ) in good working order. This machine, with the help of this shop will continue to provide service for another 50 years. In all honesty I did not have any interaction with the business other than a delightful and very informative conversation about my 50 year old sewing machine. David talked me through the possible issues with my machine and guided me to resolving them. I was considering buying a new machine, but after our conversation I decide to repair this older work horse and keep it and pass it on the the next generation. Its a fine example of American craftsmanship and Like David it will continue to serve as long s I continue to use its service. You know what? I will take my sewing machine to the shop for service.

I brought in my Janome for maintenance. The gentleman who works on the machines was very nice and professional. Did a fantastic job and even showed me how to run her.. Reasonably priced to. I am definitely planning on bringing him my other machines to work on.
